St. Clair Square

Work on the Wittington development on the northeast corner of Yonge and St Clair (over to Alvin) is beginning to take shape in the form of further demolition which should be complete by the end of the year.

The site – as illustrated above – will now include three towers, rather than the 4 originally conceived; 37 and 46 storey residential buildings and a private amenity building, the Ravine Club – those designed by Kohn, Pedersen Fox, according to the Globe and Mail. The third tall building will be a 24-storey residential building by Herzog and de Meuron.

A public square designed by the Toronto firm, Public Work, will include small shops and restaurants.
