Some of us have found ourselves wondering what’s happening on the lower level of the St. Clair subway station which has had some form of hoarding happening for the past few years. Apparently, this is entirely related to an elevator project.

Given current media reports about the City reviewing its options for increasing streetcar priority across the system, we made some inquiries about the current situation regarding streetcar priority signalling at intersections for the 512. As those of us who ride it regularly will have perhaps noted, it did not seem that any kind of priority signalling is in effect

The DPRG Board continues to advocate for a comprehensive traffic and transportation study of the Yonge and St Clair area.We have now received from the City the various traffic studies that have been completed as part of the many individual development applications in the area over recent years.
